The Valiant Heart Order was an order founded by Menalt, then Protector of Martello. Menalt was tasked with the creation of this order by Xelor himself, and the White Dragon Helioboros gave him the power of white lightning and granted his protection to the order. The first mission of the knights was to patrol and protect the roads and temples of Amakna, whose population was afraid of the frequent excursions of Djaul and the forces of evil.
When Bonta was erected in response to the discovery of Brakmar, the Valiant Heart Order served as its military force. It fought valiantly during the first battle of the Crimson Dawn, but its troops were decimated by Hyrkul soon after he had dispatched Menalt. Ultimately, with the intervention of Raval, Protector of Septangel, their ghosts rejoined the battle and saved the city of light in extremis.
