Goddess Pandawa

Goddess Pandawa

Pandawa is a goddess of the World of Twelve, as well as the name given to her followers. She was not among the ten gods who discovered the World of Ten, but she ascended in the year 636. She and her disciples are associated with Black Magic.

Her name is an anagram of "Padawan," a Jedi Apprentice in the Star Wars universe.

Titles: The Eternal Thirst; The Princess of Pints; The Bamboo Lady; The Big Foamy Bear.
Divine attributes and symbols: The Pint; The Fan.

Very few people know this, but the goddess was here when the World was created! Back then, she was a lot less powerful and was part of the vast group of lesser gods. One day, pondering on how to go about making people adore her, she found the remains of a Blop that had died from a squirt of Sporm. The whole thing was almost liquid and a cloud of Crows were stumbling around it. To her great surprise, the black feathered creatures were all drunk, staggering and unable to fly. This was an epiphany, and her powers started to grow as she experimented in the art of fermentation. She tried it on everything: plants and creatures, organs and peels, they all became liquids with unique flavours, and anyone who drank them would find themselves in a trance, leaving the goddess free to wrap them around her little finger! Soon everyone around was drunk and convinced that the goddess Pandawa was fabulous! She became so famous that she took what she believed was rightfully hers: a place within the gods' pantheon!

Icon pandawa
Always willing to lend a hand and put in a little elbow grease, Pandawas are strong and nimble carriers… whether it’s to bring over a fresh tray of drinks or to lift up an enemy and send them flying! One thing’s for sure - spend some time with a Pandawa, and you’ll soon be seeing stars…

Pandawa's disciples must adhere to the following commandments:

  • Thou shalt not attack thy neighbour when he's drinking his pint through a straw. It may end up in his eye.
  • Thou shalt clear the air with thy fan.
  • Thou shalt be able to hold both thine alcohol and the bar during summer festivals.
  • Thou shalt avoid being hungover before, during and after a night out.
  • Thou shalt not spill the divine plonk, since the foam stains and has a tendency to sting.
  • Thou shalt avoid mixing alcohols which are not from the same barrel.
  • Thou shalt not drive nor use any heavy machinery when drunk.
  • Thou shalt not give thy friends a lift if thou hast had too much to drink.
  • Thou shalt greet any uninvited party guests in the traditional manner by asking, "Hey, do I know you?"
  • Thou shalt ensure thou art not surprised when thou yeast expect it.

If thou dost not follow these commandments, thou must drink ten pints of pure water as a sign of penitence.

Praise be to Pandawa, the adequate goddess!

Pandawas as described in their temple

The eternally thirsty goddess Pandawa made her disciples in her image, and they can really knock one back! They master the art of emptying a beer mug, a tankard or a pint glass perfectly, and it does them good! Once it reaches the drunken state, a Pandawa can go wild and do anything with his body! He can even do anything with others' bodies, both good and bad. It all depends on whose side you're on...

Pandawas are much appreciated for their unusual martial arts techniques. Although they seem to be drunk, they can get one over on you, one moment escaping like water running through stones, the next smashing skulls like a brute! Handy with axes, and gifted with an unfailing sense of humour, they take every chance they can get to fight, even if it's just for a laugh. Those who persevere in the martial arts path become great masters and people travel from far-off lands to learn their teachings.
